Former Capitol Cop Calls Trump an ‘Authoritarian’ and His Mom Gets ‘Swatted’
Hours after former Capitol Police officer Michael Fanone spoke on Tuesday outside the Manhattan criminal courthouse, where he called Trump “an authoritarian,” his mother had a SWAT team called to her address responding to a potentially active shooter, according to NBC News. Fanone, who was violently attacked on Jan. 6 and became a national figure speaking out against the Capitol riot, told NBC that incidents like this were “the reality of going up against or challenging Donald Trump.”
